    Long Delays, Slow Support – Not Worth the Hassle for Small Users

    Summary: I was initially hopeful about using Decodo for a small automation test. But the process turned out to be overly complicated and time-consuming. Despite completing KYC and providing all documents, I couldn't use the service as intended. The support and compliance process dragged on for more than a week, and when I finally asked for a refund, I was told it could only be given as wallet credit. For individual users or small-scale testers, Decodo's strict process and poor flexibility make it more of a burden than a solution. Unless you’re a registered company with all legal documents ready and have time to wait, this service may not be worth the hassle.

    Positive: Clean and user-friendly dashboard
    Multiple proxy types available (residential, mobile, datacenter)
    Helpful documentation and developer-friendly API
    IP tagging and management options are well-structured

    Negative: KYC verification is unnecessarily long (took 2+ days even with correct documents)
    Couldn’t access my target site even after full approval
    Support team demanded too many business documents (e.g. company name, registration ID, tax number)
    Compliance team added further delays with domain-based email verification
    Refund is not processed to payment method—only as account credit
    Poor experience for testers or individual users
