Positive: 24/7 access from any computer to plan and assure needed equipment will be available. Every students or lab personnel know when equipment is available. No more losing an experiment because the plate had to sit too long before being read...

Negative: A little tricky to learn to use but then it is so helpful

Summary: The best booking system for R&D or academia I have tried. Easy to use and maintain. Support is always there for you.

Positive: Easy to add new users. their roles and new instruments. New students learnt it very quickly. Really nice overview of the user current and future bookings. As an administrator, very nice overview of students booking and possibility to cancel them and/or book it for different time slot if there is a clash

Negative: Booking range is 15 min, could be more flexible. Ideally it would be free of charge

Summary: Clustermarket is very user friendly. The simplicity of its design allows for easy navigating around users and equipment. The support is quick and very helpful. I'm sure as it grows, more integration will occur making it even more invaluable to management teams.

Positive: Clustermarket is easy to navigate and update as members join and leave the labs. Separating users and equipment allows you to update specific groups/ people when needed and their access to equipment. It also allows you to set planned maintenance for equipment, only contacting relevant users as opposed to mass spam emails which is very useful.

Negative: When adding new pieces of equipment it seems difficult to easily add access to all current individuals or the process for this is not clear.

Summary: We are completely satisfied with the system - however, we are currently not using all features like billing or reporting but planning to do so in future...

Positive: My lab mainly uses the booking calendar and it works nicely for our purposes. Fast and good support!

Negative: A form creator option for the booking process would be useful.

Summary: We now use the software primarily for booking equipment, but in lockdown it was for booking every area of the labs/office spaces and we find it does the job very well!

Positive: It's easy to book things, view other bookings, keep training records and create reports of equipment use.
The customer service is also excellent, quickly helping us gain access to an old account so we could transfer equipment info over.

Negative: Early versions were a bit clunky but many improvements have been made and we're now happy with it.

Summary: This is an excellent booking system. I would recommend this software to everyone. Having tried this for a year already.

Positive: As a principal investigator, the booking systems allowed me to manage and control the utilization of our laboratory resources to the maximum capacity.

Negative: It would be great if you had a mobile apps for the application.

Summary: What started as a necessity for COVID limitations, developed as a handy tool to manage laboratory spaces and equipment usage

Positive: Very easy to use and implement, setting up all the needed features is a no-brainer. Handy for all the paperwork and health and safety checks for specialised equipment.

Negative: Could be a bit time-consuming when uploading bulk data, however, the dev team is amazing and very helpful with that!
