Champs Software Review Date: Nov 14 2023
Summary: Champs is a product that we were able to customize over the years to get out of it what we need. We have a lot of great contacts and Champs and they continue to be a big supporter of our user base. Overall the support has been great, although it can take some time to get new features or fixes implemented.
Positive: Champs staff is so friendly and knowledgeable.
We absolutely love our Champs Contacts and the response has been great.
Our Staff is very familiar with Champs and has been using it for many years.
When there is an issue, we tend to get fast support.Negative: There seems to be a lot of work arounds we need to use in the system.

CHAMPS! Much Wow! Very nice! Date: Nov 20 2023
Summary: CHAMPS is a good CMMS to have. Our company has used it since the 80's-90's and there hasn't been any major complaints. The CHAMPS team has always been quick to fix any program issues we've had!
Positive: The process to create a work order, either through generating a PM or submitting a work request, is simple. Users can easily track the progress of any work order. When we upgraded to V14, we started utilizing the routing function for work order approvals. It's helped make approving work more efficient.
Negative: Not being able to access different modules when in other modules. If a user is looking at a work order and wants to see the equipment associated with it, they need to open the equipment module rather than just click on the equipment on the work order and that information open. Users are not able to adjust multiple records at once. Such as changing the ‘State’ from RTW to Working on multiple Work Orders at once.

Champs is great to work with! Date: Nov 16 2023
Summary: It takes some time to get used to the server based version of Champs but once you do you find that it is as good as what you put in it and can compete with anything else on the market. They have made great progress in their mobile version and I think it would be good for a facility that needs greater capability but doesn't want to spend the high dollars for some of the other systems out there.
Positive: Customizable with their help.
Great people to work with.
Very knowledgeable and capable.
Open to suggestions.
Very reasonably priced.Negative: Server based version is harder to navigate than other systems out there.

Very Solid Option for Facilities Management Date: Nov 13 2023
Summary: Overall Champs has been a strong program for us. I have never experienced any downtime. The speed of the program is comparable to other CMMS programs I have used. It currently meets all my needs and is easy to use and easy to train my users in the field. The reporting and data gathering aspects of the program are nice and comprehensive. Most importantly though is the staff at Champs is very easy to work with and have been receptive to feedback and responsive to issues that I found when first starting out. I would recommend Champs to anyone looking for a strong CMMS program to help run their facilities.
Positive: Compared to several other CMMS programs I have used in the past is very user friendly. The Administrative aspect of it is much more intuitive than other options. Basic tasks such as adding users, updated data tables, and changing information is simple. The Support I have received in training as well as follow-up support has been very strong and if I have found an issue resolution has been fast and easy to implement. The grid configuration tool eliminated the need for several custom reports we had as they could not be completed on the front end by creating a custom grid view.
Negative: One feature that may not apply to all Organizations but is a struggle for me since I manage dozens of different sites across the US and have almost 200 users is that there is no batch update feature. This become tedious when I need to reassign work orders or PMs and I have to touch each individual record to make the assignment changes.

Small Company, HUGE SERVICE! Date: Nov 09 2023
Summary: Completely satisfied, thoroughly happy, and absolutely thrilled to have a working relationship with such a great company in 2023 when it seems like Customer Service was tossed out the window in 2020 with Covid amongst other services. Not only has the team at CHAMPS been wonderful to work with, they have became personal friends and family outside of work socially. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER COMPANY TO WORK WITH!! Let them work for you! Tell them Ryan @ Quaker sent you..
Positive: Initially coming into my role in Danville, IL @ Quaker as a Planner, I was tasked to learn a system that seemed clunky. However we started reaching out to the CHAMPS team for input, training, etc. As time passed we aligned, and began to plan for an upcoming Innovations Seminar in 2020. During 2019 working with CHAMPS making a list of "bugs/fixes" we would like to address, as well as "wish list" items we would like to see added in addition to the base upgrade roll out for the next year. Throughout conversations we learned of training opportunities as well we took advantage of to create a handful of CHAMPS SuperUSERS for the Danville Quaker site.
Continuing to work with Nigel, Barb, BJ, David, and Debbi on any small issues, functional questions we may have since then has been absolutely nothing short of SATISFACTORY at the HIGHEST LEVEL of gratitude and appreciation. Not one single person is too busy to help, try to help or gather information for someone in their absence. Nigel even helped best he could while moving across the country! What other CMMS system can you say that about?Negative: What didn't I like about Champs? The only thing I can honestly list is I didn't start reaching out to them sooner to tap into their top tier customer service and support they offer, that you just will not get with some of the bigger CMMS companies. Champs will make things right, and re-do things that deliver subpar to expectation without hesitation. So CON's I can only say, the con would be losing them at any time in the future.
