After using this for couple of days I want to review this product, it is a efficient and time saving software for estimators.
Must go for it. If you want your work will be done in short time and in perfect manner.

They are having tutorial videos which helps in learning the software and all the things are point to point.
Lots of material they are providing in very low price per month.

Negative: A bit design and layout of the software can be improved so that it will be more easy to get into this. Rest of all things are perfect.

Summary: For a cost-effective solution to estimation, take-offs, and contract administration, this is worth considering. Great for small to mid-size contractors and owners. Since there are many modules and functions in the software, if you're starting off, I'd recommend focusing on the parts of the software you need for your business, and then integrating more as you become familiar and grow.

Positive: It allows for the complete management of a project, while at the same time, offering individual modules that allow me to make the best use of certain functions separately if needed. For instance; it is possible to just use the takeoff and cost estimation functions if that's all you need. BuilderSYS also comes packaged with training videos that took me through each module so that I can become familiar with the software before diving in. In addition, it comes with an extremely generous 1 year trial.

Negative: Because the software offers so much, it does take a little while longer to get used to it, though the training videos are very helpful. I also highly recommend having a dual monitor setup to make the best use of the screen layout.

Summary: It have one year trial period. I'm using it for quantity takeoffs. There are video links in it too so that you can learn it by yourself too.

Positive: Multiple tabs in one screen. You can remain in touch with clients and do new contracts too. It's awesome to see color coded tabs and it's be in use as compare too some other software's. You can purchase order in it.

Negative: It's not run properly if you're using other software's too. Resolution & Takeoff quality is good but should be improved. More no of tabs in-front of single screen sometimes makes you confused.

Summary: I would like to recommend this software based on its pricing and ability to address all project needs. Best for small or mid-size contractors, who are looking for a cost effective solution and want to save time and increase efficiency. This software assists you to prepare your price quotes, generate invoices & claims, monitor project activities and administer tasks assigned to other team members.

Positive: A dashboard style experience, where you can access all project related data and information with quick access over a single window. Very effective for preparing preliminary cost estimates using in-built cost breakdown, material & assembly libraries. Estimators can use it to carryout onscreen take-offs, preparing price quotes.

Good for financial management with tools like cashbook, purchase order, progress claims.

Essential project & contract management functions like keeping eye on project deliverables by accessing contract & document library, overviewing daily task using scheduling tools and working out project variations are also available.

Negative: Although it’s easy to learn but still takes time to get a full grasp on each module. It is suggested to include detailed demo videos for each section.

I liked dashboard style home screen but still prefer a tab based experience to access different modules at top of screen. I suggest if a switch between two layouts is provided and first feel of dashboard is too bright colours.

While using it on laptop, It seem to run slow few times. This could be due to default screen layout, where it opens up different components all at once. I would recommend trying it on desktop with high resolution monitor.

I would like to see document library linked with cloud based storage like one drive or dropbox. Also if a web based solution to access software remotely from anywhere is provided that would give more flexibility.

The BuilderSYS software is an efficient tool for today’s contractor who needs a project management software to organize their business as well as optimize it. It also saves a lot of time through its capability to generate reports.

The inclusion of cost data in the software is also a huge time saver for cost estimating.

Traditionally, contractors use several platforms to provide various construction services which creates silos and disconnects between teams: while a tool like BuilderSYS brings entire teams together into a common platform.

Such a system improves communication between teams and reduce errors. Now your estimator, project manager and other stakeholders can use the same platform for a streamlined process.

Positive: The integration of vital PM functions not typically found in estimating platforms.

Nice graphics as well. The training videos on the website are a nice touch as well.

Negative: There isn't anything in particular I did not like about the platform.

Summary: Overall, it was a great experience as compared to competitors.

Positive: I like the most that it offers material prices as compared to the competitors which don't offers.

Negative: I didn't like the support of screen resolution which is not actually drawback but I believe the company will provide the solution asap

Positive: The software is very detail oriented it would account for everything you need to do proper QS.

Negative: GUI needs a little organizing to make it easier for the user.

Negative: Everything fine but little bit slow to me, I think it may my internet connectivity or device problem.

Summary: I enjoyed the many features and the setup took into account what construction professionals would need to manage a business.

Many features, easy to use and clean / organized. This would definitely be worth the investment to help manage large and small projects alike. Very enjoyable experience

Positive: The home screen has a color coded tab which is easy on the eyes and organized. It makes it fast and easy to find what you need. There is a nice integration of options that allows anyone or any business to use as much or as little features as it would want. The price point is pretty reasonable as well compared to similar products on the market.

Another nice feature is the support videos and tutorials they have available online.

Negative: The download speed was fairly slow and the user speed sort of lagged behind.

The time to create reports and new jobs seemed like it could be set up in a more streamlined way.

I would also like to see a better price option to use just the Estimating portion of the software.

Summary: It was awesome and wonderful!! although it took me a while to learn everything, its still worth it.

Negative: Nothing except that it takes time to understand everything about the software. The demo is not well presented.

Summary: The overall software is a good one and really appreciated but the flaws mentioned above should be removed. Interface need to be of good quality

Positive: Good software for contractor, sub contractor and Civil Engineer with various features

Negative: Need to speed up the software as it stuck a little in my system. The interface can be enhanced and improved. Moreover SQL server are required to install it.

Summary: The software is a great tool for contractors, construction managers and estimators.

Positive: It offers complete construction management tools that include every construction detail from estimating, contracting, purchase order etc.

The integration of materials cost database is awesome.

Negative: The takeoff features need improvement. The default resolution does not fit my computer screen. The software runs slow.
