    Summary: Excellent, would not hesitate recommending it to anyone who uses Oracle EBS to solve the replacement of Oracle Discoverer and ad-hoc reporting, our users love the product.

    Positive: Easy to install.
    Easy to upgrade.
    Easy to create and edit code and report.
    Discoverer import and report conversion.
    Code is embedded within a separate schema in the EBS database.

    Negative: Nothing, just annoyed I did not find the solution earlier than I did.

    Great Report-Writing Tool

    Summary: The ability to develop, test, and tweak the SQL in a database management software and then simply copy and paste the script into Blitz makes rollout easier and timelier for us. The DBA is also not required to be involved to make updates or deploy the reports in our Production environment, making processes more streamlined.

    Positive: As a developer of reports for our company, Blitz has been super-easy to use. There are no issues with connections because it is entirely integrated into Oracle. It comes with beaucoup seeded reports that can be used as-is or as a starting-point to build more customized versions. When support is needed, they have always been extremely quick to respond. They are eager to build recommendations into the standard functionality, as they can visualize how other customers can use the functionality as well.

    Negative: New versions are being released regularly, so there are new features available upon upgrading, but this does require our DBA to test and install these revisions regularly as well. That said, it is not necessary to keep up with each upgrade.

    The missing tool in Oracle EBS

    Summary: I can highly recommend this to all Oracle EBS-users, DBAs and managers.

    Blitz-Report will give you much flexibility when it comes to your daily and adhoc reporting needs.

    Positive: Ease of install and use.
    Very small technical footprint.
    Great support, very knowledgeable and helpful.
    It follows the built-in security EBS.
    Importing of Standard-EBS reports (BI-publisher, Discoverer) works excellent.

    Negative: Nothing I could think of.

    The only con: why was this not available earlier ? :-)
