Summary: A really excellent, adaptable and supremely capable piece of software. Seems like anything is possible with this team of coders and Alpha TransForm.

Positive: Cross-device compatibility, ease of use, ability to customize the app to our exact requirements and extremely fast turn around time at all points in the process.

Negative: Because the software is SO capable/robust, had a hard time knowing exactly how to build the perfect product. Of course the answer is: the first build is never exactly what you want so you work and tweak until it’s perfect. Each change to our app has made it better and more bullet proof - wonderful experience and attentive coders to help with the process.

Summary: Recommended if you are looking for a form design/data capture product that works offline and can be extended using a programming language.

Positive: TransForm is fast and it is easy to set up new forms.

You can build simple data capture screens or really complex ones - including those with hierarchical data.

Photos & videos are easily integrated as well as mapping and signature capture.

The built-in programming language makes it a powerful tool which can be customised to create "mini-apps".

Can be integrated into existing databases and systems.

Support is excellent.

Negative: Like all (powerful) tools, there is a learning curve.

Summary: The product really performs in offline scenarios which were critical to my project. It is rock solid in the field and has all of the features for complex field applications.

Positive: The system has superior offline performance and capabilities. When you build out the system using this product, you do not have to worry about offline data collection. Without the pain of creating a custom app.

Negative: User interface builder is different from drag/drop. Once you understand that it uses a different system to create the interface, you can develop fairly quickly.

Summary: Our experience with Alpha TransForm has been a huge plus for our business, both as a user and providing this application to others in our industry. Having a company like Alpha Software that works every day to improve, add features and provide world class software solutions while maintaining excellent customer service and responsiveness is something I have not found elsewhere. Alpha TransForm has truly "transformed" our business.

Positive: The ability to create forms for field data collection in a matter of minutes is remarkable. We also have customers in the same industry collecting essentially the same data, but the flow of the collection process in the field is different for each company. With Alpha TransForm we can customize each form to fit the needs of the customer in a very short time. Adding new data collection fields is quick and easy. Being able to connect to our MS SqlServer database along with numerous 3rd Party software connections has opened the door to improving while customizing client needs. We have tried other options for doing the same thing, but nothing we found compared to Alpha Transform. Fully disconnected, high quality photographs, customizable, and fast made this product a slam dunk for our business. Plus, when coupled with the power of Alpha Software, there is no limit in the power of the system all the while not requiring advanced programming or coding expertise. But if you have that expertise, then you can go as far as your imagination will take you. Customer support is excellent and responsive.

Negative: Initially we did have some issues with uploading files with a larger number of photographs (>12). The Alpha team worked through this and made adjustments that has been fully proven in the field by our team.
