Access Care Planning Description

Access Care Planning, previously known as Mobizio, is an all-in-one mobile application designed for effective care management, featuring comprehensive digital care plans and forms, electronic medication administration records (eMAR), access for family members and funders, automated notifications, and verification of visits, all within a user-friendly and customizable interface. It comes equipped with a vast library of editable care plans and forms, ensuring flexibility for users. The platform provides different security access levels tailored for various user roles, including managers, caregivers, coordinators, and next of kin, thereby enhancing privacy and control. Users can conveniently access all forms, care plans, and records through both web and mobile devices, with offline capabilities included. Additionally, the application maintains a thorough audit trail of any modifications made to care records, allowing for transparency and accountability. Users can also upload relevant documents directly into service user records, streamlining information management. Moreover, prompts and detailed instructions are provided for medication administration during each shift or visit, while the system allows caregivers to document when medications are given or to provide explanations for any omissions using designated reason codes and notes, ensuring comprehensive tracking of patient care. This multifaceted tool significantly improves the overall efficiency of care delivery and communication among care teams.

    Amazing Product

    Date: Dec 16 2022

Summary: It is a very good system to use and to integrate with their other products, the capabilities are endless, i would like to see some more custom work available at a fairer price but in general the in the box items are very good.

Positive: The system does everything you need it to and can be fully customizable to your business needs, everything is reportable and visualized in a user friendly way.

Negative: It can be very difficult to set up, with a huge amount of trail and error to perfect you complicated automations and requirements, however once you have got the hang of the configuration it works a treat.

    Great system overall

    Date: Oct 19 2023

Summary: I use this daily, it supports all parties within the company.
It's made my working duties far easier now.
It will support CQC inspections; hopefully, with all our work on Mobizio, this will achieve a higher grade.

Positive: It's made my working day easier, everything I need is there, I can add edit boxes in to suit me and my compliance.
Service is great - 1-1 meetings involved.

Negative: Price can be a little to high but i understand due to the interaction involved.

    Good all rounder

    Date: Sep 23 2021

Summary: This system has helped us improve our service, learn lessons and hopefully a winner with CQC. It is a timely software to set up for your needs and expensive.

Positive: Clear and consistent format for staff.
Ability to see who inputs information and when - checking on real time recording which is a plus for CQC.
Reminders to help you ensure no one or no task is forgotten.
    Customisable.

Negative: Sometimes the settings and customisations are a bit hard to navigate.
Need good wifi to ensure your devices always sync and upload your notes.

    Not user friendly

    Date: Mar 11 2023

Summary: Awful, not a good evidence based system, overly complicated for people without a computer degree. Staff are complaining daily and I can see their point, some are not very tech savvy and struggle with the overly complicated system.

Positive: That would be hard., I seriously struggle to find a pro. I suppose making your own forms is a good feature. And the dashboard is ok I suppose.

Negative: Working in the care sector for 16 years, I can honestly say it's not user friendly.. The algorithms required to do something as simple as to hide a question unless required on a case form is ridiculous. Trying to take off reports is complicated. Activities do not allow for standard questions to be put on, giving more evidence. I have had to produce what feels like hundreds of form, this weighs down staff when there vould be far easier solution to gather the evidence. There is no staff message system that other platforms have and not a good alarm system for managers when issues raised, staff have to contact through other products to raise matters and signpost managers to an issue. I have worked with other CMS providers and this is by far the worst I have experienced.

  • We use Mobizio within our workplace. The design appears to not have been proof read. There are a few care plans that ask the same question more than once. There are also a few spelling mistakes (Something that I would not expect from a company that charges around £7000 per year). The way in which questions are asked are sometimes confusing, often using double negatives whilst requiring a yes or no answer. For example "Would they have no understanding of the fire alarm?" - Yes/No They also have questions that are not particularly relevant for some service users... I assumed whilst filling in a PEEP that Mobizio would calculate a rating level, however it does not, and leaves you wondering what the rating level should be. A short while back, after spending approximately 20 hours inserting information on to mobizio's database, it's server crashed. We lost all data... We did get one month for free, however, it took longer than that to input all of that data again. Mobizio has, as of yet, failed to make our workplace a more efficient care home. I hope that these bugs are fixed soon enough, however, despite complaints directly to mobizio, nothing has improved... I understand that this technology integrated with care homes is a very new and exciting service, however it simply is not yet worth it. Wait until there is more competition on the market, so that you can ensure a good service and positive experience. Last note: Great concept. Shockingly bad execution...
