Absorb LMS Reviews

Summary: They are eliminating a lot of my day to day admin work. The system allows file feeds which help set up new users and places them in the correct trainings. I have a lot more time to work on other projects now.

Positive: The ease of use! Our employees have enjoyed the easy navigation of the portal. I love the admin page and find it to be so helpful when pulling reports and loading new users.

Negative: I struggle with setting up live courses but this might be trial and error on my part. I probably need to just get the hang of it.

Summary: Overall I enjoy Absorb and our employees also enjoy using it. Once you get the hand of it Absorb is great to use. I would definitely choose Absorb again when vetting learning systems.

Positive: The best part is the support - at every stage. It is very easy to get a quick response and a thorough explanation. Employees find Absorb easy to use which is important. Administering Absorb takes a bit of time to get the hang of but once you go through the actions a couple of times it really become quiet easy to use.

Negative: Not being able to join an instructor led training from the Teams calendar. Limited create tools.

Summary: The overall experience has been wonderful with great features and customer service. I would recommend Absorb to other companies.

Positive: This LMS platform is very user friendly and easy to learn. The help resources on Absorb's website are very useful and easy to find answers to feature requests. The customer service has been excellence and always respond promptly and able to set up meetings if required.

Negative: The ability to customize courses could be more robust.

Summary: Although it is still early days, we are confident this was exactly what we need to meet our current demand and to grow with us. The implementation phase is over, but I know we will have solid support on an ongoing basis.

Positive: The implementation team and everyone we've work with so far have been incredibly helpful. It was a thoughtful process to get our team to a place that we were comfortable with how to create our system to meet our unique needs.

Negative: We were hoping for a larger user interface through Teams, but that may come later.

Summary: Overall, my experience with Absorb has been great and they are a great company to work with. They offer many solutions that enable better training and development and provide a solid platform for organizations of many sizes.

Positive: Integration managers are quick to respond, helpful, have a clearly laid out plan for implementation right from the start removing any guess work. The support team is also very helpful after implementation!

Negative: No app for managers or trainers to use for observation checks and reporting.

Summary: Overall, I feel so grateful that my company chose Absorb as our LMS. The training and onboarding has been really great and worthwhile. I love the content creation tools in Absorb Create and I am excited by the new AI features.

Positive: Ease of use. Great Support staff. Absorb is always pushing the boundaries on what an LMS can offer to a company. I love the current platform and I am so excited by what the future holds.

Negative: So far I have not had any issues with content creation and implementation. When I need help on any subject to broaden my own understanding, the support staff is quick to help and always are so pleasant to work with.

Summary: Great LMS that's easy to use as a leaner or administrator. The analytics behind it are fantastic for our team. I also love how customizable it is as well as the great customer experience it provides!

Positive: So easy to implement and begin using. Absorb LMS has a lot of great learning experiences and reporting features. From an admin perspective it's so easy to use and very intuitive.

Negative: Survey feature isn't quite where our team needs it to be. A lot of limitations with Create as well from a design perspective.

Summary: It's been nice! I think it does what we need it to do and could be built out more with additional time and resources.

Positive: Nice intro to the learning organization system. Took us from just using powerpoints and scheduling on outlook to having everything accessible in one place and tracking who completed what when.

Negative: Reporting has been a little bit of a headache and not being able to mass edit things makes edits timely.

Summary: I am happy with Absorb and will continue to use Absorb and would recommend Absorb to others because it met my current needs in a LMS.

Positive: I really love their quick 24/7 support and I love that you can also call them and someone will pick up the phone. because usually that is very urgent so having someone to pick up the phone right away is really important.

Negative: I think Absorb seems to be limited in customization but maybe I just don't fully know how to use the LMS.

Summary: Overall, we have had a wonderful experience with the program and are excited about the program's growth in the future.

Positive: Ease of use and the wide variety of resources and tools available for support. Customer service is exceptional as well.

Negative: There is nothing in particular that stands out at the moment.

Summary: The ease of use for both administrator and user interface. Easy to upload courses. Wish it had the capability to better design templates.

Positive: It is easy to use.

Negative: Better functionality for e-commerce. Wished it had capability to better design forms, templates.

Summary: Working with Sherri has been a wonderful experience. She has been a great partner for our organization.

Positive: Creating ad-hoc reports is very easy.
Setting up enrollment rules is very easy.
My Client Success Manager is extremely knowledgeable and a tremendous resource.

Negative: Cost for maintaining inactive users.
Limited number of courses/curriculum to be selected in Activity Reports.
Limited notifications for past due vs rehire instances.

Summary: Overall, I am excited to be getting close to fully using this product. It will help us greatly.
I also would like to comment about our CSM-Melissa Wu-She is very knowledgeable and is able to provide answers almost immediately. When she can't she dives in and gets the answers usually in the same day. She doesn't make me feel stupid about the questions I have, even if they are simple one. She is a great asset to your company!!
* I love the product itself and the way that it is set up. Once we have finished all the final touches and start to use it full time, it will free up so much of my day (no more manual tracking!)!

Positive: *I believe that this product will be very user friendly for those employees who are not computer literate. That helps a lot.
*The prompt attention we receive when we have an issue or a question.
*The bi-weekly meetings with our Client Success Manager, Melissa Wu!
* The many different avenues we can take going forward with this product. The ability to do more than just ILC with our employees in the future.

Negative: I wish that you had in-person trainings. I am a hands-on learner and sometimes feel lost or don't feel that my understanding of the material is correct. I would love to be able to immerse myself in the product without the worry that I will screw up ours. We do have a sandbox version, but it is still not enough. I need someone to show me step by step how to use it . This is very important to me since I will be the admin.
I wish the uploading of employee attachments was present (past certs, quizzes prior to using this program). These items are important to the educational history of the employee and need to be included. I am presently not sure if this is possible and hoping that I am wrong.

Summary: Honestly I think my organization can do a better job of leveraging more of the Absorb capabilities. It's something we're looking into and I'm excited about how we can leverage absorb to make our Academy more exciting. The support from Melissa has been wonderful and she's such a joy to work with! I also can't really speak to the pricing because I'm not privy to that information.

Positive: - Easy to upload coursework
- Ability to have many different departments/users
- Fast and efficient support

Negative: - I don't feel the Support Academy is the best when it comes to helping troubleshoot specific problems. The answers seems broad and non-specific and I find myself reaching out to our client success manager, but it could be user-error!
- Would like a better pathway for learners ex. a flow that guided the learner vs the learner having to know where to look or search for courses
- More reporting available without having to get Analyze, although I'm sure that's by design.

Summary: Our experience with Absorb has been generally positive. The platform's user-friendly interface and features have streamlined our training processes, making it easier to manage and deliver consistent, high-quality training across various departments

Positive: Absorb is user-friendly and has a straightforward interface that our employees can easily navigate. The platform's reporting and analytics features help us track and measure our training metrics effectively. The support team and CSM are extremely responsive and helpful, handling issues promptly.

Negative: While Absorb LMS is generally great, the customization options for branding and the user interface could be more flexible. Additionally, the out of the box reporting leaves something to be desired. These minor issues, however, do not significantly detract from the overall functionality and performance of the platform.
