Limina is a data de-identification platform that uses context-aware detection to identify and transform sensitive information without unnecessarily removing the information that makes datasets useful. It supports PII, PHI, and PCI detection across more than 50 entity types, including names, Social Security numbers, payment card information, medical conditions, medications, passport numbers, and international variations. Rather than relying exclusively on patterns and formatting rules, Limina analyzes surrounding context to identify sensitive entities that may appear across sentences or conversational turns. The platform is built to work with both structured and unstructured information, including difficult datasets containing ASR errors, OCR mistakes, handwritten forms, and conversational disfluencies. Limina supports 52 languages and multilingual or code-switching data, with deployments referenced across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Switzerland. Organizations can deploy Limina as a container inside their own VPC or on-premises environment, allowing data to remain within infrastructure they control without third-party access or outbound processing calls. Its data-linking capabilities connect related information while converting unstructured content into structured intelligence that can be used in downstream workflows. Limina integrates with existing technology environments including AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and NVIDIA NeMo and is designed to operate at enterprise scale. The platform is intended for healthcare, pharmaceutical, financial services, insurance, technology, and other regulated organizations that need to balance privacy and compliance requirements with continued use of sensitive datasets.
