Description
Thawte-branded certificates leverage the robust and dependable authentication framework of Symantec. Since SSL is the foundation of our operations, we are committed to consistently enhancing our offerings to provide the essential tools and features that our clients seek. Our dedication to ongoing research and development ensures that our practices remain among the industry's elite, allowing us to effectively counteract emerging security threats. With our state-of-the-art data centers and disaster recovery facilities, we guarantee unparalleled protection for customer data. This means long-lasting security, reduced costs, and fewer complications. We are excited to roll out new multi-year purchasing options to streamline the process. Due to industry regulations, all certificates are now limited to a validity of one year at most. Although this enhances security, it can lead to increased inconvenience for users. To alleviate this, we're offering multi-year certificate packages that allow you to secure up to six years of coverage at a reduced rate, saving you the trouble of annual renewals. By opting for this solution, you will simplify your management process, and your future self will certainly appreciate the foresight.
Description
You can either create or import TLS certificates and monitor their validity within the management console. Automatic retrieval and renewal of Let’s Encrypt certificates can be achieved easily, provided that you validate your domain ownership. Additionally, you have the option to manually upload certificates from external certification authorities and utilize them within Yandex Cloud. By selecting certificates from the Yandex Certificate Manager, you can enable HTTPS access for your static websites. It's essential to use domains with validated rights when interfacing with the API, as a certificate associated with the domain will facilitate a secure TLS connection. Once you upload or renew certificates, the changes will be reflected across all resources simultaneously. When generating a certificate, various verification methods can be selected, but for Let’s Encrypt certificates, only domain ownership verification is necessary. Notably, the Certificate Manager does not verify domain rights for user-uploaded certificates. This streamlined process enhances security and ensures that your web services remain reliably accessible.
