Description

Tester is a robust test automation solution designed for on-premises use, allowing a single, user-friendly suite to control web browsers, HTTP APIs, Android, and iOS devices from one file. Its AI test generation operates on local models (Ollama), ensuring that sensitive test data, credentials, and pre-release builds remain securely within your network. This system is particularly tailored for regulated industries such as banking, fintech, and healthcare, which require strict compliance and cannot afford to send test data to external cloud services. It can be deployed as a hardened appliance or installed on your own hardware, providing flexibility in implementation. Manual testers can easily comprehend the suite's content line by line, while the runner intelligently selects appropriate drivers for each test case and generates comprehensive run documentation, including detailed reports, screenshots, page snapshots, and logs. Additionally, the platform incorporates enterprise-grade security features such as single sign-on (SSO) through OIDC/SAML, SCIM support, role-based access control (RBAC) across multiple projects, metadata-only auditing, and verified updates and licenses. Moreover, any external AI integrations are strictly optional and come with a preview feature to ensure data privacy before use. Overall, Tester stands out as a versatile and secure choice for organizations committed to maintaining control over their testing processes.

Description

Cloverage defaults to using clojure.test for testing, but you can switch to midje by including the --runner :midje option. Previously, in older releases of Cloverage, it was essential to enclose midje tests within clojure.test's deftest, but that requirement has been removed in the latest versions. If you wish to utilize eftest, simply provide the --runner :eftest flag. Additionally, you have the option to customize the runner by specifying :runner-opts with a map in your project settings. It's worth noting that other testing libraries might offer their own integrations with Cloverage beyond what is provided here, so be sure to consult their documentation for more information. Overall, this flexibility allows you to tailor your testing environment to better suit your development needs.
