Description
TallyTill offers a self-service checkout solution tailored for small and unattended retail environments, such as farm stands, honor boxes, micro markets, market booths, camp stores, and event entrances. Users can utilize their existing devices, like smartphones or tablets, eliminating the need for proprietary terminals or additional card readers, as transactions can be completed directly on the device. Customers have the ability to either scan a barcode or take a picture of items that lack barcodes—such as loose produce, baked goods, plants, and cut flowers—with AI technology recognizing them from the store's catalog. Payment options are versatile, including card, tap to pay, QR codes, or cash and checks using an envelope code. The system supports two modes: an honor mode for unattended transactions and a kiosk mode that secures the app on a tablet for solo use, ensuring sales can queue offline and synchronize once the internet connection is restored. Additional features encompass catalog management, jurisdiction-specific sales tax calculations, receipt generation, ticket and wristband printing, along with comprehensive reporting and reconciliation tools. Uniquely, TallyTill offers a free plan with no card requirements, expiration dates, or contracts, making it an accessible choice for small businesses.
