Description
Starting in January, SORA will participate in the Kusama parachain auctions, with the aim of securing a slot as soon as possible. A bridge will facilitate interoperability between the current SORA network and the SORA Kusama parachain network. Constructed on Parity Substrate, SORA supports the development of Polkaswap, a decentralized application being established on its network. Efforts are underway to connect to the Polkadot relay chain and its parachains, utilizing integrated tools that emphasize decentralized finance (DeFi). The SORA Network is proficient at providing essential resources for decentralized applications that leverage digital assets, including atomic token swaps, token bridging across different chains, and establishing programmatic protocols related to digital assets. Polkaswap serves as a non-custodial liquidity aggregator and cross-chain automated market maker (AMM) decentralized exchange (DEX), aimed at fostering an interoperable DeFi landscape that is operated by the community. The collaboration within the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems, along with the foundational capabilities of the SORA network, positions it as a vital player in the evolving decentralized finance sector.
Description
Shiden Network operates as a multi-chain decentralized application layer built on the Kusama Network. Since the Kusama Relaychain inherently lacks support for smart contracts, there arises a necessity for a dedicated smart contract layer, which Shiden Network effectively fulfills. From its inception, Shiden has been compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, WebAssembly, and Layer2 solutions, allowing for extensive versatility. The platform facilitates a range of applications, including DeFi, NFTs, and beyond. Token holders of SDN are granted the opportunity to stake their tokens on preferred decentralized applications, enabling both nominators and developers to earn SDN tokens. For those looking to deploy Solidity smart contracts, there are two primary methods available for compilation: utilizing Ethereum tools or employing Solang, a compiler that translates Solidity into WASM. Upon successfully compiling your contract, you are then able to deploy it on the testnet known as Dusty Network, which serves as an excellent environment for testing and development. This flexibility and range of options contribute to Shiden Network's appeal in the broader blockchain ecosystem.
