Description

SEAL provides a service for transferring files such as documents, media, design assets, datasets, and archives through the use of temporary links. Within the web application, files are encrypted in the user's browser prior to upload, while command-line interface (CLI) encryption occurs locally. Users can configure settings like expiry dates, passwords, single-use access, download limits, or NDA requirements, as well as review a signed access log and revoke hosted access at any time. Recipients can access the shared links through their browsers without needing to create an account. Additionally, SEAL features a Telegram bot, a Mini App, a CLI, an SDK, an HTTP API, and a local standard input/output MCP server. AI agents are capable of either sharing or requesting files and sensitive information; after establishing a connection, files can be sent to a SEAL inbox, with the agent receiving a handle instead of a traditional link. The Telegram bot handles file encryption on its host device, allowing chat attachments to be processed through Telegram's system first, while its Mini App performs encryption directly on the user's device. Each individual seal allows for transfers of up to 1 GB and remains active for seven days, with one-time upgrades available to increase capacity and extend the lifetime of the seal; however, each file must not exceed a limit of 10 GB. In this way, SEAL provides a versatile and secure file-sharing solution tailored to various user needs.

Description

OpenText XM SendSecure offers a cutting-edge platform for secure file exchanges that combines user-friendliness with robust security measures. It facilitates the safe transfer and temporary storage of sensitive documents within a virtual SafeBox, ensuring that all files undergo virus scanning and are encrypted both during transmission and while stored. The implementation of 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) guarantees that the intended recipient receives the files, and data is systematically deleted after a predetermined duration. Additionally, XM SendSecure contributes to regulatory compliance by automatically creating a comprehensive audit trail documenting all file interactions and communications. The core of the XM SendSecure system is the SafeBox file container, which is established upon upload and remains isolated from other storage in a secured virtual environment. Each SafeBox permits users to share an unlimited quantity of files across various formats, with a maximum size of 5TB per file. As files are uploaded into the system, they are automatically subjected to antivirus scanning, and once a file exchange is initiated, both senders and recipients have the option to attach more files to the exchange. This seamless integration of security and usability makes XM SendSecure an ideal choice for organizations handling sensitive information.
