Description
RoutEX™/400 is tailored for IBM Mid Range Computer Systems, encompassing platforms like the IBM AS/400, IBM System i, and IBM i Series. First introduced in 1980, this software has undergone constant enhancements to stay aligned with technological advancements. Developed in the RPG programming language, it operates on IBM’s proprietary operating systems. This solution caters to large enterprises managing 50 or more truck routes across various locations. RoutEX™ provides specialized functionalities that cater to each distinct industry segment. For instance, certain application features pertinent to the Dairy sector may not be relevant to companies in the Soft Drink and Bottled Water industries. During the system setup, users specify their company's industry, allowing the software to present only the relevant industry functions. With a focus on the unique demands and standards of the Route Distribution sector, RoutEX™ is committed to delivering tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency. This adaptability ensures that clients can optimize their distribution processes effectively.
Description
At MoveAssist, we possess exceptional expertise in the moving sector. Our CEO was instrumental in creating the first commercial software package specifically for international movers during the 1970s. He also played a crucial role in developing one of the industry’s earliest e-commerce platforms and later introduced MoveManager, the first web-based application tailored for the moving business. The upcoming mai-move will encompass all essential functions necessary for moving and storage companies. Utilizing the foundation established by our mai-assignment product, we have already integrated much of the required features, including workflow management, email and document merging, a document library, CRM, billing, reporting, and customer portals. One of our standout features is the unique ‘least-cost-routing’ function, designed to determine the most cost-effective, speedy, and high-quality routes for any shipment. We are also focused on creating additional tools for move management, and our future goals include developing operational tools to enhance dispatch, warehouse, and resource management, ensuring that our clients receive the best service possible.
