Description
Riff is a complimentary Chrome extension that utilizes Gemini Nano directly on the user's device to craft replies, posts, and direct messages for creators, entrepreneurs, marketers, and various professionals. Users on platforms like X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram can input basic ideas, modify the tone, and produce a draft that aligns with their specific post or conversation needs. In addition, Riff assists in composing new posts, initiating first messages, and responding to communications in LinkedIn Messaging, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Direct. Users have the option to set a personal or brand voice, make edits to the draft, and then either insert, send, or publish it on their own. Operating locally within desktop Chrome, Riff also saves user settings and drafts in the Chrome storage of the computer. The extension requires a compatible version of Chrome and suitable hardware, along with a one-time model download; importantly, it does not post on behalf of the user. This ensures that all communications remain in the user's control while enhancing their productivity.
