Description
Peppol facilitates the streamlined electronic transmission of eInvoices, purchase orders, and various business documents, providing both private enterprises and public institutions with a platform for rapid, secure, and international trade. By standardizing the structure and exchange of information, it harmonizes business processes, creating a common digital language that connects organizations globally. The Peppol Interoperability Framework outlines the necessary governance, architecture, rules, policies, requirements, and technical specifications that enable buyers and suppliers to exchange electronic business documents seamlessly across different sectors and geographical boundaries. Furthermore, Peppol BIS standardizes these electronic documents for validation and secure transmission among service providers via the Peppol Network, thereby supporting a diverse range of buyers and sellers worldwide, utilizing specifications grounded in Universal Business Language standards and tailored message types for prevalent eProcurement activities. This innovative framework not only enhances operational efficiency but also fosters collaboration between businesses and public entities, promoting a more integrated global marketplace.
Description
The Procurement Service bus (PSB), a cloud-managed connection to eDelivery networks such as the Peppol network, provides a cloud-managed connection to the Procurement Service Bus. Designed for large volumes, low latency, and automatic scaling. Designed with redundancy in mind and high availability. The shared cloud approach is centrally managed to ensure optimal utilization and predictable cost. Additional services are available, like target-transformation, automatic retry and party discovery.
The Procurement Service Bus does more than provide AccessPoint As A Service (APAAS) services. We connect the Peppol network to the enterprise systems.
The interface is built on OAUTH 2.0 layer and REST. The API's are easy to understand and are made visible by the OpenApiUI. The swagger.json file is available on the OpenAPI UI main webpage and can be used for generating code in many languages. We recommend OpenAPI Generator if you want to generate code.
