For macOS users seeking a PostgreSQL GUI tool, PSequel stands out with its straightforward and user-friendly interface, allowing users to efficiently execute common PostgreSQL tasks. In the realm of MySQL, Sequel Pro is often regarded as the top client; however, it has not made strides in supporting PostgreSQL. This gap inspired us to create PSequel, which is built from the ground up using Swift 2, drawing significant inspiration from the design of Sequel Pro. Currently, PSequel is a passion project that we are developing in our free time. By focusing exclusively on macOS versions 10.10 and above, we aim to streamline the codebase and reduce the need for testing on outdated systems, resulting in a more efficient and less error-prone application. As PSequel continues to evolve, we are excited about the potential enhancements and features that will be introduced in future updates. The project remains in its early development phase, promising a bright future for PostgreSQL users on macOS.
