Pro-Est HVAC serves as a comprehensive estimating tool for HVAC projects, featuring capabilities for pipe work, sheet metal, and an Excel recap sheet. This program is designed to be affordable, user-friendly, and adaptable, functioning seamlessly on both 32-bit and 64-bit processors as well as on operating systems such as Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Users can select from four distinct methods for estimating sheet metal, with two options incorporating shop labor and two that exclude it. Additionally, labor can be quantified in either pounds per hour or linear feet per hour, enhancing the program's versatility. The various methods available for sheet metal estimating encompass elements like liner, duct wrap, sealer, SMACNA pressure classes, reinforcement options (including Duct Mate and TDF), accessories, snaplock, and spiral configurations. Users have the option to incorporate additional reinforcement, liner, insulation, and accessories beyond those that come preinstalled, ensuring a tailored estimating experience. Importantly, all associated costs and labor productivity metrics are fully adjustable, allowing for precise financial planning.
