Description
NAMD is a high-performance parallel molecular dynamics software specifically developed for the simulation of extensive biomolecular systems. Utilizing Charm++ parallel objects, it effectively scales from personal computing devices to advanced parallel systems, accommodating hundreds of cores for standard simulations and exceeding 500,000 cores for the most demanding cases. This software is tailored for researchers aiming to perform efficient simulations of large molecular systems while ensuring integration with commonly utilized molecular modeling workflows. It collaborates with the well-known molecular graphics tool VMD for both simulation setup and trajectory analysis, maintaining compatibility with file formats from AMBER, CHARMM, and X-PLOR. Furthermore, it is engineered to facilitate biomolecular simulations that encompass proteins, membranes, nucleic acids, solvents, ions, and other molecular systems, allowing for an in-depth exploration of atomic interactions and time-dependent movements. Researchers can therefore rely on NAMD to provide comprehensive insights into complex molecular dynamics.
Description
Nanome serves as an interactive platform designed for collaborative molecular visualization and the exploration of drug discovery. Users can upload protein and small-molecule structures to examine together in a three-dimensional format, accessible through a web browser or various XR headsets such as the Meta Quest 3 and 3S, Apple Vision Pro, and Samsung Galaxy XR. In a shared session, all participants, including a chemist using a headset and a peer working from a laptop, can simultaneously focus on the same molecular feature, no matter their physical locations. The platform incorporates MARA, an AI copilot that efficiently performs docking, co-folding, electrostatics calculations, and ADMET predictions based on straightforward, natural language inputs, utilizing over 300 integrated scientific tools to provide 3D models for further examination. Additionally, Nanome supports a variety of file formats including PDB, mmCIF, SDF, MOL2, PyMOL, and Maestro, while also offering connectivity to platforms like Schrodinger LiveDesign, OpenEye, Cresset Flare, CDD Vault, KNIME, and Jupyter. For enterprises, deployment options include single-tenant or on-premises setups, enhancing security and control. A free web seat is available, along with a 14-day complete trial that requires no credit card for access. Overall, Nanome is revolutionizing how teams collaborate in the field of molecular science.
