Description

The MicroPython pyboard is a small yet powerful electronic circuit board that operates MicroPython directly on the hardware, enabling a low-level Python environment suitable for managing various electronic projects. This implementation of MicroPython is rich in features, including an interactive prompt, arbitrary precision integers, closures, list comprehension, generators, and exception handling, among others. Remarkably, it is designed to fit and function within a mere 256k of code space and 16k of RAM. MicroPython's primary goal is to maintain a high degree of compatibility with standard Python, facilitating seamless code transfer from desktop environments to microcontrollers or embedded systems. Additionally, this flexibility makes it an excellent choice for hobbyists and professionals alike, as they can leverage their existing Python skills in new hardware applications.

Description

Sensbench is an online simulator designed for circuits and microcontrollers, making it an excellent tool for learning, prototyping, and testing various platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi Pico. Users can arrange virtual boards and components on a digital breadboard, connect circuits, modify sketches, compile firmware, and execute it in an emulated microcontroller while monitoring serial outputs and the behavior of components. The platform also offers capabilities for SPICE analog simulation, as well as mixed digital-analog circuits. Alongside comprehensive guided examples, it features virtual components like sensors, displays, LEDs, and relays to enhance the user experience. An innovative AI builder can transform a written project request into a detailed parts list, wiring diagram, and firmware, while an MCP server allows compatible AI clients to interact with the workbench seamlessly. The core functionalities of Sensbench are available for free through a web browser, though users can opt for additional AI credits and subscription plans for enhanced project features. Furthermore, Sensbench provides physical project kits that come with pre-flashed boards and instructional guides, including specialized kits designed for integration with Home Assistant via local Wi-Fi. This combination of virtual and physical resources makes Sensbench a versatile choice for both beginners and advanced users alike.
