Description
Mango Viewer, a robust graphical user interface for medical image analysis, is specifically crafted to accommodate a variety of file formats, such as DICOM, NIfTI, and ANALYZE, among others. This tool offers a comprehensive suite of functionalities for exploring and interpreting medical imaging data, which includes multi-planar viewing options like axial, sagittal, and coronal perspectives, as well as advanced surface rendering and the capability to define and analyze regions of interest. Mango is equipped with a user-friendly interface that facilitates scripting and batch processing, streamlining repetitive tasks for users. Additionally, it encompasses features such as image overlay, image fusion, and the ability to visualize 4D data, alongside dynamic contrast-enhanced imaging analysis. The ROI tools enable extraction of statistical data, including volume, mean, and standard deviation, with the option to create ROIs either manually or through algorithmic generation. Furthermore, Mango excels in handling multiple images, making it ideal for comparative studies, and enhances its functionalities through plugins that support brain mapping, tractography, and perfusion analysis. Notably, this versatile software operates independently of any platform, ensuring accessibility across different systems. With its rich feature set, Mango Viewer stands out as a valuable asset for researchers in the field of medical imaging.
Description
dcmage serves as a complimentary DICOM workbench designed for the modification of metadata, the de-identification of studies, and the examination of volumetric data. Compatible with both native Mac applications and web browsers, it processes DICOM studies directly on your local machine, ensuring data privacy and efficiency.
The tag editor feature allows users to search for any DICOM tag by its number, keyword, or value, encompassing nested sequences and private tags, while inline checks promptly identify any invalid value representations. Any edits made are saved to a new file, leaving the original data intact and unaltered.
For de-identification, dcmage applies DICOM PS3.15 profiles, including HIPAA Safe Harbor guidelines, and enables the implementation of custom rules, ensuring consistent UID remapping across multiple studies. Additionally, its on-device OCR functionality identifies text embedded in images, allowing users to review and black out sensitive information as needed.
The viewer offers multiple perspectives, including axial, sagittal, and coronal MPR, all with synchronized crosshairs and tools for adjusting window/level, zooming in, and taking measurements.
An audit trail feature meticulously logs every edit, anonymization, and export using a SHA-256 hash-chained system, which can be exported for record-keeping purposes, making it easy to track changes.
dcmage is tailored for research, data management, and technical evaluations, emphasizing its role as a powerful tool rather than a medical device. It empowers researchers and professionals to handle DICOM data with enhanced control and security.
