Compare Label LIVE vs. mylabelmaker

Label LIVE is the easiest to use label printer app for designing and printing labels. You can print barcodes and address labels, shelf tags, inventory labels, and many other jobs using Label LIVE. Use your Mac or Windows 10 desktop computer to work with thermal label printers from mydpi, Brother, DYMO and Zebra. Label LIVE generates PDFs that can be sent to any printer that is installed using a driver. This means you can send complex print jobs to inkjet and laser printers, too. Need to import spreadsheet data? Label LIVE can import Excel, Numbers or CSV files with a few clicks.

mylabelmaker is an online application designed for creating and printing labels, catering to small businesses, e-commerce sellers, warehouse teams, and various users who need labels for products, shipping, inventory, barcodes, QR codes, or name badges. Users are able to design labels in customized sizes, utilize templates tailored to popular label formats, and incorporate text, images, shapes, tables, barcodes, QR codes, dates, and serial numbers into their designs. The application supports variable-data printing by allowing the import of Excel and CSV files, including those from published Google Sheets, facilitating the mapping of spreadsheet rows directly to labels. Printing can be accomplished through a web browser to compatible Zebra printers or through the user’s existing printer setup, with the option to export designs in formats such as PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, or ZPL. The label editor operates seamlessly in browsers on both Mac and Windows systems, although it requires Zebra Browser Print for direct printing to Zebra devices. Notably, users do not need to create an account to access the app, which is entirely free and does not come with any trial period or subscription fees. This makes mylabelmaker an accessible solution for anyone in need of efficient label creation without the hassle of registration or cost.
