Description
Iterative Billing serves as a comprehensive billing and network management solution specifically designed for internet service providers, WISPs, and WiFi hotspot operators, capable of accommodating anywhere from a single hotspot to a maximum of 9,378 customers under one account. This platform streamlines the processes of billing, invoicing, and collections by integrating various payment systems such as M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, and Flutterwave, while also offering rapid service activation or suspension via its built-in RADIUS server with Change of Authorization (CoA) capabilities. It efficiently manages both MikroTik RouterOS versions 6 and 7 (allowing onboarding over VPN without requiring public IPs) and Huawei OLTs, as well as enabling remote management of customer routers through TR-069 protocols. Users benefit from a Network Operations Center (NOC) monitor, a detailed network map, double-entry accounting features including payroll and stock management, invoicing aligned with KRA eTIMS standards, and customizable hotspot vouchers featuring branded captive portals. Additionally, a shared WhatsApp inbox equipped with an AI assistant and AI-driven agents for troubleshooting routers and resetting WiFi enhances user experience. The offering is rounded out by dedicated operator applications available on both iOS and Android, alongside a self-service app for subscribers. Notably, the pricing structure is based on usage, ensuring affordability while also being capped to prevent unexpected costs.
Description
Businesses are increasingly confronted with the dangers posed by harmful Wi-Fi hotspots and the myriad of applications found on employee-owned devices. Among these applications are not only malware but also what is termed "riskware" – software that, while not directly harmful, can engage in activities that jeopardize the security of company data. These various threats collectively put enterprise users at risk of data leaks, identity theft, and the unauthorized transfer of sensitive information, which can be exploited to conduct sophisticated attacks targeting specific individuals. Employees often connect to public Wi-Fi networks and unwittingly grant extensive permissions to these riskware applications, failing to recognize that their personal and organizational information could be transmitted to distant servers and advertising platforms worldwide, creating opportunities for cybercriminals to exploit this data. As such, organizations must prioritize educating their employees about these risks to safeguard their sensitive information more effectively.
