Description
The deal management component captures the terms of agreements, establishes approval workflows, manages financial transactions, accommodates contract modifications, and maintains a historical record with an audit trail. Meanwhile, the rights management aspect facilitates the searching and creation of deals, organizes IP rights hierarchies, oversees advances and guarantees, tracks payment schedules, sets royalty rates, and performs collision checks along with rights clearance and holes analysis. The royalty management section is responsible for processing sales and usage data, calculating and verifying royalties both in and out, allowing for deductions or recoupments, addressing violations, providing analytical insights, and producing royalty statements. Additionally, the finance management module encompasses revenue recognition and accruals, expense oversight, a comprehensive accounting engine, an accounting sub-ledger, and seamless bi-directional integration with financial systems through ERP. This interconnected system enhances efficiency and accuracy across all financial and contractual dealings within the organization.
Description
Soluqube serves as a specialized revenue-recognition tool designed for finance teams and auditing experts tasked with analyzing revenue derived from contracts. The application allows users to validate performance obligations and standalone selling prices, facilitating the calculation of relative SSP allocations while generating comprehensive schedules compliant with ASC 606 and Ind AS 115. In the case of INR contracts, Soluqube distinctly separates 18% GST from the revenue prior to the amortization process. Its review workspace effectively correlates obligations with relevant excerpts from contract clauses, and the export options include detailed schedules, supporting workpapers, and SHA-256 integrity hashes for security. The sophisticated calculation engine operates on integer arithmetic with cent rounding, strategically assigning any residual cents to the final schedule period to ensure that deferred revenue equals zero by the end of the term. Additionally, the platform supports single-contract audits and provides a hosted subscription model that seamlessly integrates with ERP systems for schedule exports, alongside customizable on-premise deployments. However, features such as live ERP connectors and accounting for contract modifications are currently unavailable, representing potential areas for future development.
