OmniDICOM serves as a versatile desktop application for both DICOM viewing and metadata modification, designed for educational and research purposes on both Mac and Windows platforms. Users can open local studies, conduct series comparisons, perform measurements, and view cine sequences, while also having the capability to inspect or alter DICOM tag values. The application features advanced viewing tools such as multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), maximum intensity projection (MIP), 3D volume rendering, and digital subtraction angiography (DSA). Additionally, it includes PACS and DICOMweb functionalities that facilitate study transfers, along with various export options for images, video, DICOM files, and STL models. The Professional version introduces a processing bench equipped with stacked filters and analytical tools like histograms, profiles, and time-intensity curves. A 14-day trial of the Professional edition is available upon first use, but it comes with restrictions on exports, and to maintain unrestricted access, users must obtain a paid license. The Basic subscription starts at $10 per month or $99 annually per machine, while the Professional plan is priced at $45 per month or $449 per year.
