Description
Engage in global trading with any payment method of your choice, regardless of the currency involved. A contract is established, leading Hodl Hodl to create a one-of-a-kind multisig escrow for that specific transaction. The seller then transfers Bitcoin directly from their wallet into this escrow. Following this, the buyer compensates the seller using the previously agreed payment method. Once the payment is confirmed, the seller can release the Bitcoin from the multisig escrow directly to the buyer’s wallet. Since Hodl Hodl does not manage any funds—be it Bitcoin or fiat—it avoids the need for complicated compliance regulations. This unique approach enables transactions to occur directly between users' wallets without the necessity of revealing personal identity to the trading platform. Unlike many other P2P Bitcoin trading services, Hodl Hodl prioritizes user privacy by not holding onto any funds. Additionally, Hodl Hodl offers competitive pricing, with fees capped at a maximum of 0.3% per transaction. Another significant advantage of using Hodl Hodl is the flexibility it provides, allowing users to trade Bitcoin from anywhere in the world, utilizing any payment method, and receiving payment in any currency they prefer. This feature makes it an appealing choice for users around the globe who value privacy and low fees in their transactions.
Description
Vaultion addresses a fundamental issue in transactions between unfamiliar parties: the need for one party to take the initial risk. To eliminate this uncertainty, Vaultion utilizes a secure smart contract that holds the payment, ensuring it is only released when all agreed-upon conditions are satisfied.
The process is straightforward: the buyer deposits funds into an escrow using a stablecoin—options include USDC, USDT, DAI, or PYUSD—after which the seller fulfills their part of the agreement. Once the buyer confirms receipt, the payment is released. In the event of a disagreement, the funds remain secure while an independent arbitrator intervenes to make a decision. This arbitrator can either be Kleros, a decentralized court composed of randomly selected jurors, or a human reviewer supported by Vaultion, whose decision is subject to a challenge window before any funds are transferred. Additionally, a guardian with freeze-only authority can halt any dubious ruling without the ability to redirect the funds, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process. This innovative approach fosters trust and security in transactions that might otherwise be fraught with risk.
