Description
HeavyBid's construction estimating software allows you to create activities and bid items on the fly. You can also copy them from an estimate or a list of standard activities of work. Import bid items directly from DOT websites in order to reduce the time spent on building estimates.
HCSS inputs your bid items and quantity data from external takeoff software into HeavyBid in order to produce an accurate cost estimate.
HeavyBid has been used by estimators in 4,000+ companies including 44 of ENR's top 50 heavy civil contractors. Estimators can easily repeat the conditions for estimating, while estimate reviewers can easily access checklists and review instruments that make it easier to verify costs and prices.
Description
Acquiring project documents and executing measurement takeoffs is essential for determining Item Quantities to prepare your bid, but it doesn't end there! It's crucial to have Marked-Up drawings on hand, enabling you to verify your bid and effectively address any inquiries that may arise later. You can easily transmit the complete marked-up set to a variety of mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops. QuickEye Estimator stands apart from other tools on the market. With just one to three hours dedicated to learning and setup, you can boost your productivity by one to two hours daily. Its innovative design breaks away from the conventional formats seen elsewhere. We initiate the process with an efficient workflow designed to produce 'ready to price' Quantity Items seamlessly. Furthermore, we incorporate two accelerators aimed at ensuring the creation of this final product is as fluid as possible, allowing the tool to function without hindrance. Firstly, we aggregate multiple measurements associated with a single item, so that similar rooms, such as those requiring the same paint, can be handled collectively rather than in isolation, streamlining the entire estimation process significantly. This approach not only enhances efficiency but also fosters accuracy, making it easier to manage complex projects.
