During the build phase, your application and its assets are compiled, validated, and transformed into an artifact. This artifact can then either be published to a remote registry or directly handed off to the deploy phase. In the deployment phase, Waypoint efficiently transfers the artifacts generated during the build phase to diverse platforms, including Kubernetes, EC2, and static site hosts.
