An eSIM, which stands for embedded SIM, is a type of digital SIM card that is integrated directly into a device rather than being a separate physical card. This innovative technology enables users to select a mobile network provider, activate their service plan, or change carriers without the need for a traditional SIM card. There are two different types of eSIMs available: one that is specifically for data use only and another that offers both voice and data capabilities. The data-only variant allows for internet access exclusively, while the dual-function version provides the ability to make calls, send and receive text messages, in addition to using data services. To activate your eSIM after acquiring eTravelSim, you will be sent a QR code through email, which you must scan with your smartphone's camera to initiate the installation process.
