Description
Google Playground is an experimental online platform tailored for adults, enabling them to design, engage with, and share personalized games without needing programming skills. Users can articulate their game ideas using simple language and subsequently enhance aspects like rules, visuals, and gameplay through interactive prompts. The platform features guided creation workflows, the ability to upload reference images, and genre-specific templates such as trivia, racing, platformers, and tower defense, offering various entry points for creators. Furthermore, creators have the ability to modify their games, export essential files like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and choose to publish their games as private, unlisted, or available for public discovery. Players are able to explore a wide range of games made by the community, support their favorite creators, and participate in public or invite-only leaderboards, with multiplayer game creation currently being tested. Access to Playground is restricted to individuals aged 18 and older within the United States, and while the public game catalog can be played for free, there is an introduction of a limited weekly token generation tier; additionally, subscriptions to Google AI plans allow for increased limits and immediate access to game creation features. Overall, Google Playground fosters a collaborative and creative environment where adults can delve into game development without the barriers of coding expertise.
Description
Ludo.ai is an AI game asset studio for indie developers and small studios. Generate art, audio and video from text prompts or uploaded images, in your browser or through an API. Create character sprites, animated sprite sheets, concept art, UI, icons, tilesets, backgrounds, parallax layers, seamless textures, rigged 3D models, sound effects, ambience loops, music, voices and short video clips. Develop game concepts and design documents too. Animate characters using text prompts, up to three drawn keyframes, reference videos or a library of 641 motion presets across 34 categories. Animations run up to four seconds and 64 frames, with 30+ art styles and a dedicated Forge Pixel model for pixel art. Export transparent PNG frames, packed sprite sheets with JSON atlases, GIFs, MP4s or frame ZIPs. Animation Pack normalizes movesets for Unity, Godot, Unreal and GameMaker. Keep a consistent look with reference images that guide style alone or style and subject together. Pose Generator changes a character's pose while preserving its identity, while Motion Transfer applies movement without restyling the sprite. Generate 3D models from text or a single image, then re-texture, optimize or auto-rig them without a T-pose. Animate rigged models using 640+ presets or text prompts. GLB exports include PBR textures, rigs and saved animation clips for Unity, Unreal and Godot. The API can also relabel rig bones. Pro and Studio plans include unlimited in-app generation, a REST API and an MCP server for agents and automated pipelines. A Unity plugin brings generation into the editor. New accounts receive 30 free credits with no card required. On annual billing, Indie costs $15/month, Pro $35/month and Studio $300/month. Monthly billing costs more, and Enterprise is available for larger teams.
