Description

Flux is a browser-based electronic design automation (EDA) platform for designing printed circuit boards. It brings schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, routing, and design rule checks into a shared online workspace. Its AI hardware design assistant helps turn plain-language circuit requirements into schematics, research components, place parts, route traces, and review designs. Engineers can edit the results, define design constraints, and review the board before manufacturing. Multiple users can work on the same design in real time, leave comments, and manage project permissions. Reusable community circuits and component libraries help teams start new designs, while live component pricing and availability support part selection. Flux exports Gerber, bill of materials (BOM), and pick-and-place files. It accepts Altium ASCII and Cadence EDIF schematics and KiCad component libraries. These imports do not include PCB layouts. Flux is used by electronics engineers, hardware startups, and product teams. A trial includes limited AI usage; after the trial, a paid plan is required to edit or export private projects and use AI. Public-project and community access remain available.

Description

The MPLAB® Mindi™ Analog Simulator streamlines the process of circuit design and mitigates associated risks by allowing users to simulate analog circuits before moving on to hardware prototyping. Utilizing a SIMetrix/SIMPLIS simulation environment, this tool offers the flexibility of employing SPICE or piecewise linear modeling, catering to a broad spectrum of simulation requirements. In addition to its robust simulation capabilities, the interface incorporates exclusive model files from Microchip, enabling accurate modeling of specific Microchip analog components alongside standard circuit devices. This versatile simulation tool can be easily installed and operated on your local PC, ensuring that once it is downloaded, an Internet connection is unnecessary for its operation. Consequently, users benefit from quick and precise analog circuit simulations that do not rely on external servers, enhancing the overall efficiency of the design process. Users can confidently run simulations directly on their computers, experiencing the reliability and speed that comes with offline capabilities.
