Description

FileMaster serves as a comprehensive file management tool, document viewer, media player, text editor, and much more, specifically designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices. You can easily transfer files from your computer for convenient access and share them with friends on the go. The user-friendly interface allows you to simply long-press on any file or folder icon to bring up a menu, where just a tap on your choice will set you in motion. Additionally, you can effortlessly copy, paste, and create new folders by tapping on the screen. FileMaster prioritizes your privacy, ensuring that files can be accessed remotely with a password or locally with a master passcode, meaning only you can view the contents within. You have the ability to manage your files by creating folders and performing cut, copy, paste, and delete operations with ease, all while utilizing the long-press feature for menu access. The app also supports multi-selection mode, allowing for bulk actions, and lets you import photos and videos directly from your device's album. Moreover, you can take private photos or videos securely within the app itself, monitor the remaining disk space, and enjoy support for a wide array of file formats, including avi, Flv, rmvm, rm, mov, mp4, mp3, WMA, and m3u8. With its robust features and focus on user experience, FileMaster stands out as a go-to app for file management and multimedia needs.

Description

While there are several robust file managers available, many do not adhere to Material Design principles. Even those that claim to follow Material Design often exhibit various minor design imperfections, such as issues with layout, alignment, padding, icons, and fonts, which can create discomfort for users like me, though these flaws might not bother everyone enough to seek out a solution. This dissatisfaction ultimately led me to develop my own file manager. Additionally, numerous popular and trustworthy file managers are closed-source, and while I occasionally use them to access and modify files requiring root permissions, I find myself feeling uneasy about granting any closed-source application such extensive access to my device. After all, this device contains a wealth of personal information, and the level of trust is solely based on the developers' intentions. Therefore, it's crucial to prioritize transparency when it comes to access rights within applications.
