Description
In 2010, Firehouse introduced the innovative FH®Inspector application for iPad®, which has undergone significant enhancements influenced by feedback from seasoned fire inspectors across the country. The FH®Inspector 3.0 version seamlessly integrates the entire inspection workflow, covering everything from scheduling and on-site evaluations to syncing data back with FH, making it an essential tool throughout the inspection process. Users can effortlessly switch between comprehensive maps and inspection lists that feature mini-maps. The app boasts enhanced data management, improved synchronization, and in-app error reporting for a smoother experience. After completing an inspection, users can review any violations and easily capture signatures directly on their iPad. Additionally, it allows for the printing or emailing of the inspection copy to occupants while still on-site, enhancing efficiency and communication. This comprehensive approach ensures that fire inspectors have all necessary tools at their fingertips to streamline their workflow effectively.
Description
FireDocs serves fire contractors across the globe, with a presence in countries such as Australia, the USA, the UK, the UAE, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Singapore, and South Africa.
Designed by an active fire and security technician based in Adelaide, FireDocs functions as a digital logbook tailored for fire protection specialists and their employers. It allows users to document inspections on-site by capturing photos, jotting down notes, and obtaining signatures, after which a PDF report can be generated and sent prior to leaving the location. This innovative platform enables the organization of all client details, site information, and visit records in a single accessible location, while also offering the option to place a QR code on the fire panel for authorized personnel to review the site's inspection history. Upon registration, users can select their country, prompting FireDocs to automatically load relevant maintenance standards, reporting frequencies, and terminology (including AS 1851, NFPA, BS 5839, NZS 4512, and SANS), though these frequencies remain customizable. It's important to note that FireDocs functions solely as a logbook and reporting solution, without certification or endorsement from any regulatory body or agency. Starting at just $49 AUD per month, billed on a monthly basis, FireDocs also offers a 14-day trial upon request for new users to explore its features.
