Description

Emerson’s Ovation™ automation platform is a comprehensive power plant control system built on a robust distributed control system (DCS) architecture. We are a global leader with thousands of installations spanning 60+ countries and representing over 1.4 million megawatts of generating capacity. Our leadership is built on more than six decades of dedicated control system engineering expertise across turbine, boiler, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), balance of plant (BOP), and renewable energy applications. Emerson has also successfully implemented small and large water/wastewater automation, DCS, and SCADA projects on 150+ plants managing 12B+ gallons daily in just the US alone. In addition to its core distributed control system, Ovation is a unified automation platform with fully integrated safety instrumented systems (SIS), SCADA, high-fidelity simulation with digital twin modeling, optimization software, plant prognostics, robust cybersecurity, and AI-enabled applications.

Description

Qatium serves as an open and collaborative tool for water management, providing utilities of all sizes with a comprehensive, interactive, and real-time digital representation of their water systems, allowing operators and planners to efficiently manage, monitor, and optimize their networks in a secure digital framework. Users can create a virtual model of their network using GIS and other data sources, link real-time data feeds such as SCADA or metering, visualize the entire system, detect irregularities, and simulate different scenarios prior to real-world implementation, which aids in reducing leaks and losses while enhancing resilience and service quality. The platform is equipped with functionalities for visualizing networks, alerting users to potential problems, conducting scenario and simulation assessments, and offering a digital water assistant to provide guidance, along with the capability for extensions and integrations through a marketplace and developer tools. Qatium prioritizes a design that is user-friendly, secure, and scalable, empowering utilities to optimize their operations, improve decision-making processes, and foster digital innovation. Ultimately, this tool not only enhances operational efficiency but also contributes to more sustainable water management practices.
