Description
InspectWarden is a mobile application designed for inspection and recordkeeping specifically aimed at small contractors working in fire protection and life safety. Technicians utilize guided checklists on their mobile devices to assess various assets through 16 different types of inspections, which encompass areas like fire extinguishers, wet-pipe sprinklers, fire alarms, kitchen suppression systems, exit and emergency lighting, AEDs, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, range hoods and ducts, standpipes, fire pumps, backflow preventers, fire doors and dampers, as well as emergency generators. Each asset is concluded with an outcome and a date for the next scheduled inspection. Any deficiencies found are documented along with their severity and photographs, which can then be converted into estimates using the pricing guide, and these are tracked through work orders. The software also offers features like recurring inspection schedules, the ability for reinspections, customizable branded PDF reports, a customer portal for easy access, team invites for collaboration, CSV import and export functionality, QuickBooks CSV export, offline operation, bulk tagging of items, and a checklist creation tool. While the platform provides extensive features, it is essential to note that requirements may differ based on jurisdiction and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ); thus, InspectWarden serves to document the inspections performed without substituting for local regulatory codes. This comprehensive software solution not only enhances efficiency but also ensures compliance with safety standards in the fire protection industry.
