Description
Enhance the efficiency of your direct and cross-examination processes while slashing your trial management and preparation time by more than 50%! By simply importing transcripts, you can extract trial questions and automatically generate printed materials that include both questions and answers, complete with corresponding page and line numbers from your official transcript. You can effortlessly prepare your trial inquiries directly from the deposition transcript of each witness, requiring minimal typing—just a click of your mouse suffices. With a simple click, you can select and capture the questions you want to use from the deposition transcript, and print these alongside the witness's responses, ensuring that you have the starting and ending page and line numbers for both questions and answers. Additionally, you can easily load the deposition transcript from a CD or an email attachment received from the deposition reporter, allowing you to choose which questions you would like to pose to the witness during the trial, streamlining your workflow even further. This innovative approach not only saves time but also enhances the accuracy of your trial preparation.
Description
Stenobox serves as an alternative to MaxScribe for digital and electronic court reporters along with legal transcriptionists. By uploading audio from court proceedings or depositions, Stenobox generates a formatted draft of the transcript that includes verbatim dialogue, speaker identification, and proper court date and case formatting, along with headers for examinations and features for interpreter management. Instead of starting from a blank page, users receive a nearly complete draft which they can review against the original audio before certifying it as the official record. The platform primarily focuses on producing the transcripts while allowing users to verify their accuracy without the need to retype everything. Additionally, there is a built-in review mechanism that highlights areas that may require attention, and clicking on any word directly plays back that moment from the recording for easy cross-referencing. Plans run $129 a month for 25 audio hours, $199 for 50, or $349 for 100, with $25 buying 5 more hours — no per-minute charges — and a 7-day trial is offered for new users to explore the service. The subscription operates on a month-to-month basis, allowing users to cancel whenever they wish. Uploaded audio is automatically deleted after 30 days unless users opt to retain it until they manually delete it, and the recordings are never repurposed for creating any other products. This ensures the privacy and integrity of the user's files throughout their experience with Stenobox.
