Description
DELMIA Ortems provides innovative solutions for dynamic planning, scheduling, and production management. It enhances conventional Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) by incorporating advanced constraint-based, finite-capacity resource optimization and synchronizing production workflows. This enables manufacturers to maximize resource utilization while effectively addressing daily operational challenges to elevate service delivery standards. With its agile and responsive features, this solution assists manufacturers and planners in balancing and resolving operational discrepancies between supply and demand, facilitating seamless integration and transparency across demand, supply, and operational processes. Additionally, users can swiftly pinpoint manufacturing bottlenecks, adjust schedules, and perform what-if analyses to refine Detailed Scheduling and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) practices. Ultimately, the software aims to improve responsiveness and visibility, reduce cycle times, minimize inventory levels, and improve lead-time efficiency, paving the way for a more streamlined manufacturing process. The comprehensive capabilities of DELMIA Ortems empower organizations to maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly changing market.
Description
LineSight AI is a specialized software designed for optimizing production planning and slitting processes in metal service centers and flat-rolled metal processors. By integrating with a customer’s ERP system, it efficiently accesses open orders and coil inventory, subsequently creating slitting plans that consider various factors such as order specifications, line capabilities, and operational limitations like grade, gauge, slit width, coil dimensions, PIW, edge conditioning, knife setups, and multi-pass processing. Production planners can evaluate these plans, make necessary updates to the ERP, and generate work orders along with accompanying PDF plans. The software also facilitates comprehensive order-to-release workflows, capable of processing purchase orders from various sources including emails, PDFs, images, and WhatsApp messages, while managing ERP transactions, material matching, freight quote requests, and material purchases, all subject to staff approval for significant actions. Targeting production planners, order-entry teams, and operations managers, LineSight serves those in the steel and aluminum service center industries and toll processing sectors. This tool not only streamlines operations but also enhances efficiency by reducing manual input and potential errors within the workflow.
