Grok 4.8 is an upcoming large language model from xAI designed to continue the company’s push toward more capable coding, reasoning, knowledge work, and autonomous AI agents. Elon Musk has stated that Grok 4.8 uses approximately 2.5 trillion parameters, making it larger than the 2.1-trillion-parameter Grok 4.7 model previously discussed.
