Description
The Access Assurance Suite, part of the Core Security Identity Governance and Administration solutions formerly recognized as Courion, is a sophisticated identity and access management (IAM) software system that empowers organizations to facilitate informed provisioning, ensure continuous regulatory compliance, and utilize actionable analytics for enhanced identity governance. This suite consists of four leading-edge modules, providing an intelligent and efficient strategy for reducing identity-related risks while offering a comprehensive solution for optimizing the provisioning workflow, assessing access requests, managing compliance, and enforcing stringent password policies. Additionally, it features a user-friendly web portal where end users can easily request access, and managers have the ability to review and either approve or deny those requests. Adopting a shopping cart model, Core Access enhances the overall experience by streamlining processes and eliminating the need for cumbersome paper forms, emails, and tickets traditionally used for access management. This modern approach not only improves efficiency but also fosters better communication between users and administrators.
Description
Opal Security is an identity governance and access management platform built for organizations that need to control access across employees, AI agents, applications, infrastructure, and other non-human identities. The platform applies policy and governance controls to access requests, privileged sessions, entitlement reviews, and automated systems from a single layer. Paladin, Opal’s AI decision engine, reviews requests, evaluates policy and risk, explains its reasoning, and can either make a decision or escalate the request to a human reviewer. Just-in-time access capabilities allow organizations to provide temporary privileged permissions only when necessary and automatically revoke them afterward. Opal also uses AI to support access reviews by examining entitlements, weighing available evidence, and recommending whether access should be retained or removed. For AI agents and autonomous systems, the platform can govern what they are allowed to see, access, and execute. Every access change and administrative action can be logged, attributed, searched, and exported to systems such as SIEM platforms or Amazon S3. Opal supports cloud-hosted, self-hosted, virtual machine, and Kubernetes deployment models for organizations with different infrastructure and regulatory requirements. Security capabilities include SOC 2 Type 2 certification, TLS encryption in transit, AWS KMS encryption at rest, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and support for US or EU data residency.
