Description
Coolify is a self-hosted, open-source platform as a service designed to streamline the self-hosting experience, offering users the ability to operate applications, databases, and services on their own hardware, whether it’s an aging laptop, a Raspberry Pi, or a leased server from companies like Hetzner. As a compelling alternative to services such as Heroku, Vercel, Netlify, and Railway, Coolify empowers teams with complete autonomy over their projects, data, and infrastructure, effectively eliminating any concerns about vendor lock-in. Users can effortlessly deploy a variety of solutions, including static websites, full-stack applications, databases, Docker images, and Docker Compose projects, all from a user-friendly interface. Each deployment through Coolify is managed as a Docker container, which simplifies the processes of managing, isolating, and migrating applications across different environments. Additionally, the platform supports features such as automated deployments, Git integration, free SSL certificates, backups, environment variables, build packs, Nixpacks, Docker-centric workflows, and custom domain configurations. With its comprehensive features and user-centric design, Coolify not only enhances development efficiency but also encourages innovation by providing a flexible deployment environment.
Description
Lathe provides dedicated hosting solutions tailored for individual creators and small teams, ensuring each user has a unique cloud machine that supports their application, database, and authentication, all managed, backed up, and monitored for a single monthly fee. Each dedicated machine is equipped with Postgres 17 (alongside PgBouncer and pgvector), Redis 8, CouchDB 3, and NATS JetStream, in addition to facilitating app hosting with GitHub deployments and integrated user authentication. There are no shared clusters, no fees based on user count, and no unexpected charges; pricing begins at just $15 per month, which includes a 14-day trial period with no credit card needed. Users can control their services via a web interface, a REST API, or an MCP server using OAuth 2.1, allowing AI agents to manage the entire stack efficiently. Lathe consolidates various tools like Vercel, Supabase, and authentication services into one streamlined solution with a dedicated machine and predictable billing. Moreover, every plan comes with daily backups, continuous monitoring, and an accessible status page, ensuring peace of mind for developers.
