To generate the response, CodeAssist forwards the code to the OpenAI API, which retains this information for a duration of one month to ensure the provision and maintenance of their services, adherence to legal obligations, and the enforcement of their policies. It's important to note that OpenAI does not utilize your code for enhancing their services or for the training of their models, ensuring the confidentiality of your work.
