Description
Camarada, the grand prize winner of the Google I/O experiments challenge, is an innovative 3D camera that allows users to take 3D photos and videos, providing stunning 3D effects and illusions that can be viewed on-screen or shared with others. It is compatible with various viewing methods including cardboard VR viewers, red-cyan glasses for anaglyph viewing, as well as parallax and cross view options, along with support for 3D TVs. In solo mode, users can quickly capture stereoscopic 3D images by simply moving their smartphone from side to side, resulting in the creation of 3D GIFs, holograms, or images suitable for various viewing methods, such as cardboard VR viewers or 3D glasses, all while accommodating both portrait and landscape orientations and utilizing either front or rear cameras. This means that you can even take 3D selfies! Furthermore, in dual-phone mode, Camarada connects two smartphones for synchronized capture of stereoscopic 3D videos, allowing for an immersive viewing experience through your cardboard VR viewer or stereoscope. With such versatile features, Camarada truly enhances the way we capture and experience 3D visuals.
Description
This application is designed to help you move away from the automatic settings of your camera, which may not always deliver the desired results, and allows for greater control over your photography. For those with more advanced skills, it streamlines the settings process by handling the necessary calculations on your behalf. While it is not a magical solution that guarantees stunning images every time, it provides a foundational setup that you can fine-tune to achieve your ideal shot. Targeted towards both professional and amateur photographers with some basic knowledge, it includes features for calculating alternative or equivalent exposure, accommodating ND filters and long exposures. It also calculates depth of field, hyperfocal distance, and simulates Bokeh effects, along with determining the field of view. Furthermore, it assists in calculating the appropriate shutter speed to effectively freeze motion, capturing stunning images during sunrise, sunset, and the golden and blue hours. Additionally, it offers information on the sun's position, including the times for sunrise and sunset, as well as a calendar for golden and blue hours throughout the month, enhancing your planning for the perfect shot.
