Description
CAM-TOOL stands out as the most rapid and precise CAM software available today. This advanced CAD/CAM system is fully compatible with five-axis control machining centers and boasts a hybrid CAM engine that incorporates both polygon and surface calculations. Such a hybrid feature facilitates direct machining of materials that possess a significant hardness level. Furthermore, CAM-TOOL enhances surface finish quality, extends tool longevity, and minimizes both machining and finishing durations. The creation of more precise NC code reduces the chances of tool overload, thereby contributing to increased tool lifespan. By eliminating discrepancies within the NC code, CAM-TOOL achieves surface finishes that were once only attainable through polishing techniques. The improved accuracy of the NC code enables the use of longer length-to-diameter ratios, rendering it feasible to machine smaller areas efficiently. Parts that are machined with greater precision also require less time for assembly. Customers have reported the ability to machine exotic materials exceeding a hardness of 60rc and even carbide due to enhanced tool path accuracy. This significant improvement in accuracy permits the utilization of .1mm tools without the concern of breakage, making CAM-TOOL an invaluable asset in the machining industry. Ultimately, this blend of precision and efficiency positions CAM-TOOL as a leader among its competitors.
Description
FreeMILL is a complimentary milling module that operates as part of our commercial CNC software, designed specifically for programming CNC mills and routers. This entirely free CAM software imposes no restrictions regarding time limits, the number of attempts, saving capabilities, or lines of code! Users can create toolpaths where the cutting tool moves along a series of parallel planes to shape their desired geometry. Additionally, it allows the generation of both Roughing and Finishing toolpaths, and provides full simulation capabilities for cutting and material processes. Outputting G-code for your selected CNC milling machine is also part of its features. MecSoft Corporation, founded in 1997, is a pioneering developer of both standalone and integrated CAD/CAM software solutions catering to the subtractive (CNC machining) and additive (3D printing) manufacturing sectors. Headquartered in Irvine, CA, MecSoft is committed to creating easy-to-use, robust, and cost-effective CAD/CAM software solutions that meet the diverse needs of our users. Their dedication to innovation ensures that customers receive top-notch support and continuously updated technology.
