Artix Linux is a rolling-release distribution derived from Arch Linux, emphasizing the use of real init systems because PID1 should prioritize simplicity, security, and stability. Users have the flexibility to install various init systems such as openrc, runit, s6, suite66, or dinit from any available ISO. The base ISOs are tailored for a fully customizable installation and are designed to be utilized in a TTY, making them suitable for advanced users who are comfortable with the intricacies of Linux systems. Ultimately, Artix Linux caters to a diverse range of users, from novices to experts, by providing multiple pathways for installation and configuration.
