Description
Arialine serves as an AI-driven diagram generator and Mermaid diagram editor specifically designed for engineering and product teams utilizing Slack. It allows users to create a variety of technical diagrams, including flowcharts, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, UML, ERD, C4, and swimlanes, using plain language, discussions from Slack, or Mermaid code. By simply pasting valid Mermaid code with the command /arialine, users can render diagrams without any AI limitations or usage restrictions. These diagrams remain editable within their original Slack threads, enabling team members to respond and make adjustments, with every approved modification recorded as a version linked to the originating message. Additionally, Arialine boasts features such as history tracking, undo options, rewind functionality, branching capabilities, decision context, as well as various export formats like PNG, SVG, PDF, and .mmd. It also supports interactive HTML diagrams, Markdown-to-Slack-Canvas rendering, and is compatible with Mermaid 12 and ZenUML, alongside providing an MCP server for Slack AI integration. Notably, Arialine is accessible across all Slack plans, including the Free tier, ensuring that everyone can leverage its capabilities. This inclusive approach allows teams of any size to enhance their collaborative efforts in diagram creation.
Description
Astah UML gives software teams and students a focused tool for UML 2.x modeling. Class, use case, sequence, activity, state machine, component, and deployment diagrams are all available, together with mind maps for early brainstorming.
Every diagram is a view of a shared model, so renaming a class or changing a relationship updates it everywhere it appears.
For AI-assisted work, Astah UML offers AI Chat Copilot and AI-assisted code reverse engineering, both of which connect to OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint through your own API key. A local MCP server lets external AI agents read and work with your models, and conventional reverse engineering turns existing Java, C#, and C++ code into diagrams without an AI service.
Astah UML runs locally on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
