Description
The Andon Tool is a web-based application designed to enhance communication and workflow for manufacturing teams on the shop floor. Employees can easily submit requests for production support using any device with browser capabilities, which then show up on live boards within their departments; these requests can be claimed by designated responders, while also maintaining a record of their status, responses, and completion history. Supervisors have the ability to monitor request activities through detailed reports covering various plants, departments, and work areas. In addition, the platform features production schedule boards that illustrate employee rotations and job templates, daily KPI boards for tracking performance with a green/yellow/red system, TV dashboards, and comprehensive downtime logs that categorize waste and provide Pareto analysis. There are also optional paid features available, such as Skill Matrix tools that help manage certifications and work instructions, while the Continuous Improvement Board (C.I.B.) supports methodologies for ongoing improvement, including techniques like the 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, PDCA, and A3 reporting. This versatile tool is tailored for a wide range of users in the manufacturing sector, including production-floor operators, responders, supervisors, plant managers, and teams focused on continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that all stakeholders can effectively collaborate and optimize workflows. Overall, the Andon Tool empowers organizations to streamline their operations and improve overall productivity.
Description
Asytra Trace is a web-based application that provides digital assembly guidelines and facilitates execution on the shop floor. Operators utilize version-controlled work instructions linked to serial numbers, which include necessary measurements, quality control checks, images, and required sign-offs. For each serial number and procedural step, Trace meticulously logs the identity of the operator, timestamps, any issues encountered, comments, quality results during production, and approvals from supervisors. This capability allows production and quality assurance teams to quickly audit a unit, respond to customer inquiries, and export build records within minutes. Additionally, Trace is engineered for quick integration into shop floor operations, offering a complimentary 14-day trial to support ease of use. By streamlining these processes, Trace enhances overall efficiency and accountability in manufacturing environments. Asytra Trace is a product of Asytra Limited, incorporated in Hong Kong.
