With Drake Tax, you can expedite every aspect of return preparation, ensuring that calculation results and a comprehensive view of the return are just a click away. You have the ability to mark items in any text field, checkbox, or tax form amount as verified, flagged for review, or noted for further examination. If any information for a confirmed item changes, the DoubleCheck feature will promptly flag it for review. In addition, shortcut keys and macros help to simplify the data entry process, significantly reducing the number of keystrokes required. The software facilitates an automatic flow of data from federal returns to state and city returns, while also providing options for overrides when necessary. State and city returns are generated on demand, and it automatically accounts for taxes paid to other jurisdictions. Furthermore, Drake Tax conveniently auto-fills information based on ZIP Code and EIN inputs, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in tax preparation.
