Description

AWS Developer Tools are tailored for developers and IT operations experts engaged in DevOps, enabling them to deliver software swiftly and securely. These tools provide a means to store and version control your application's source code safely while also facilitating the automatic building, testing, and deployment of your application to either AWS or a local environment. With AWS CodePipeline, you can create a comprehensive software release workflow that incorporates these services alongside third-party tools, or you can choose to integrate each service individually with your current tools. By utilizing AWS developer tools to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), you can significantly enhance your software development and release processes. These tools are specifically designed to work seamlessly with AWS, simplifying the setup process for your team and boosting overall productivity. Additionally, you can define your application infrastructure using familiar and user-friendly programming languages, which further streamlines the development process. Moreover, leveraging machine learning and big data can help pinpoint issues and provide recommendations based on Amazon's proven best practices, fostering a more efficient development environment.

Description

When it’s essential to maintain complete oversight and control, as well as utilize an automated CI/CD toolchain that seamlessly integrates into your enterprise setup, each project can operate within various life cycles. These life cycles offer a tailored workflow that facilitates the automation of tasks needed to navigate the development and release phases effectively. The framework accommodates both Release and Package-based builds, whether for Distributed systems or Mainframe environments. Continuous integration (CI) can be implemented alongside options for scheduled or on-demand builds. Once a release is constructed, it is preserved as an archive for future reference. The system supports different build types, including Full Build, Partial Build, Production-based Partial Build, or tag-based Partial Build. Following the build process, the automated deployment mechanism transfers the release or package to the suitable Test or Production environment. Each solution utilizes a specific set of pre-defined yet customizable actions—referred to as "Solution Phases"—to streamline and automate this deployment process, ensuring efficiency and consistency throughout the project lifecycle. This approach not only enhances productivity but also reduces the risk of errors during deployment.
