Description

The newly launched Fiber Box Plus can be viewed from two distinct perspectives. Firstly, it represents a significant enhancement over its predecessors, incorporating a cutting-edge ARM CPU, increased RAM, and four 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports, which ensures fast and reliable connectivity without the constraints typically associated with Ethernet, all while remaining budget-friendly. Additionally, it includes a Gigabit Ethernet port for management tasks or PoE-in power supply, along with a 2-pin terminal and standard DC jack, giving users three versatile power options. Supporting a broad input voltage range of 24-57V, this device stands out for its remarkable efficiency, consuming only 7W of maximum power without any attachments. On the flip side, the Fiber Box Plus can also be viewed as an economical alternative to the high-performance netFiber 9, providing substantial savings for users who do not require the extra Gigabit SFP ports. Moreover, it boasts the same exceptional Marvell 98DX226S switch-chip, ensuring that performance remains uncompromised. This makes the Fiber Box Plus an attractive option for both budget-conscious consumers and those seeking reliable technological advancements.
